Losing temper can be good for human's health; a recent study reveals with findings that anger kind of emotion controls the cardiovascular response and endocrine system, reducing stress. According to the investigation lead by scientists from the University of Valencia (UV), when we get angry, the heartbeat, arterial tension and testosterone production increases minimizing the stress hormone cortisol for which left part of the brain gets stimulated. The researchers conducting the test on 30 people inducing anger measured the heart rate, arterial tension, the levels of testosterone and cortisol, and the general state of mind respectively. They found everything goes positively according to the hypothesis that the stress and depression level in brain is suppressed. Depression that is considered as the most dangerous disease in human psychology can be best avoided through letting people angry and express their inner feelings into public, said the team of scientists from the university. The study published in the journal "Hormones and Behavior", reveals that anger brings some changes in the state of mind of the subjects and in different psycho-biological parameters. |
